This tour is a cruise to the Gramvousa Balos lagoon. A bus will take you to the port of Kissamos where you embark on a cruise to the area of Balos and Gramvousa. After a short while, we arrive at the port of Kissamos, where our ferry awaits us to embark on this short cruise to Balos beach. At 10:40 we start our cruise which lasts 45 minutes and leads us to Gramvousa island. You can sit and relax watching impeccable scenery and the pure side of Crete.
After a short while, we dock on the island of Gramvousa. There we can enjoy swimming in crystal clear waters or sunbathing in the stunning white sand which is part of a Natura 2000 protected environment. For adventure enthusiasts, a short hike up to the Venetian fortress on the island of Gramvousa is also possible, thus unearthing the rich culture, history and Archaeology of Crete!
After our break to the Gramvousa island, which will be around 2 hours, we head to the Balos lagoon, where our Balos boat trip begins. The vessel travels for 15 minutes as we approach the Balos lagoon. This 3-hour time free lets you swim in award-winning waters, rent an umbrella and enjoy the tranquil and virgin scenery or enjoy a quick refreshment by the beach. As the sun begins to settle on this Balos beach tour it is imperative that we take some lovely photo souvenirs as we await for the vessel to take us back through the Gramvousa island towards the port of Kissamos.
